Bio
Mischa Livingstone was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Israel as a child. After completing his mandatory military service during the first Gulf War, he moved to the United States to study film at UCLA where he received a BA in Film Production (summa cum laude) and an MFA in Screenwriting.
His award-winning films have screened at festivals worldwide and been added to the Smithsonian permanent collection. Festival screenings include the Berlin Intl. Film Festival (where he was nominated for a Crystal Bear), Montreal World Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Seattle Intl. Film Festival, and Cinequest (Viewers’ Voice Award winner), to name but a few. In 2009 he was invited to attend the Berlinale Talent Campus.
In addition to filmmaking, Mischa serves on the faculty of the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles.
